I'm looking for something with a 2.5 to 2.75in blade lenght, light weight, pocket clip, plain edge. I'm a regular user of the pocket clip, but i'd like something that wouldn't seem to heavy in the pocket.I'm a big spyderco fan, but I can't find anything that fits these specs that I do not already have. I'm really interested in the CRKT Urban Shark, but have been unable to find one. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Clay

for around $75 you could get a kershaw splinter w/quince wood handles - less if you go with aluminum. the urban shark is a nice design but I find CRKT's AUS 6 blade steel gets dull really quickly. Or what about the new CRKT Elishewitz E-Lock?

If you like the plastic handled Spydies, you may want to check out the Ka-Bar/Dozier Folders . At 3", the blades are a hair longer than you mentioned, but the knives are great beaters. And at $20.00, you can pick up a couple of them. There is also a Thumb Notch version available.

I've had very good luck with my Kershaw Sapphire. AUS-8 semi-leaf shaped blade is a real cutter. Can be had for $49. Might be a touch long for you, though.
