I like to carry a knife but I get frustrated as Spydercos and most of the knives I have had in the past tend to be too wide to allow me access into my pocket when clipped on my jeans and are big (wide) and annoying inside the pocket.

Anyway...
I want to get a nice thin lockback.
I was thinking of even getting something custom, I do not mind spending a couple hundred bucks.

I want something thats not going to be ruined by doing simple tasks like cutting boxes, wire ties and things like that.

I want something that looks NICE!

I want it to be easy to open with one hand (little thumb stud or something?)

IF the rear 1/3 of the blade was serrated that would be AMAZING but I doubt I will find that. Another bonus would be if it had a removable pocket clip so I could decide which way it was easiest to carry for that time.

What do you guys suggest I look for or who would be the one to contact to make something like this.

Two words...William Henry. Most are a bit more expensive than $200, but more than worth it!

Guys the most imporant things for me with this knife are

THIN
Lanyard hole
Blade between 2.5 and 3.25

Spydercos are nice and all but I want something of a higher quality....
Spydercos are too thick across (outter edge of handle to top of blade when closed)

So far I am heavily leaning towards William Henry or Chriss Reeves Mnandi (someone told me there are some with a Lanyard hole)

xb those are nice knives.
I had one for a couple mths...
No thumb stud and it just isnt super easy for one hand opening.

Thanks though

I believe the only way for the Mnandi to have a "lanyard hole" is for you to take the clip off and use THAT hole for a lanyard. They're not bad, though! I think I might be tempted by the WH- most of their knives I've seen have been quite good.

I would be taking the clip off the Mnandi and thats what was suggested...

I just like to have a lanyard or something out of my pocket so I can easily pull the knife out.

I don't think you can go wrong with a William Henry. They seem to meet your requirements perfectly. I own a number of them and am happy with them all.

The more and more I look at it th more I agree with you and think I am going William Henry, now is just the time to try and find which one I want...

It seems they are going to be thinner than what I have seen from total customs.

I am debating Damascus...
Only thing that worries me about the WH is that the blades are so thin and I have heard they require more care than many others.

My WH has not required any additional care, in fact it seem to stay sharp and smooth, better than most of my other knives. Steven
