Need suggestions - lefty, 3", on post

Hi.

I have a birthday coming up, and have decided to get something nice for myself.

I am air force, but am stationed on an army post. I'm restricted to a blade up to 3" in length. Auto/non auto is not a factor.

I am left handed, and don't like serrations. My spyderco delica has served me very well, but I want something new.

What do you suggest?

ETA - oh, I'm in CA, so...I don't really want to carry a concealed fixed blade, as that would apparently be a felony if I carry it off post.

What kind of price range are you looking at?

Look into Benchmades with Axis locks, they may be good for a lefty.

A price range would definitely help with recommending a knife for you. I agree with Mirror-Saw that a Benchmade with an Axis lock would be a nice choice, though there are a number of different options in that category. One knife that immediately comes to mind is the Cabela's D2 Mini Griptilian. It's available in a plain edge version with either black or olive drab scales, and sells for approximately $75.

I need to keep it under $150. I would like to keep it somewhat under that.

Truth be told...my dull delica or my SAK can do anything that I need doing. This is for entertainment and self gratification.

If you have never had an axis lock Benchmade, go get a 707 or 705. If you can wait a little while, the waved Delicas are supposed to be shipping and those will definitely be entertaining.
