NEED TARP INFO

I have some of those 8x10 Blue tarps. I've also seen them in Silver. A few years ago I saw them in a Camo pattern. Does anyone know where I can locate a tarp in the Camo,or other neutral color. Thanks for any info.

I once located military personal shelter kits consisting of a olive ripstop nylon coated green tarp about 10' by 6' and 20 yards of white ? nylon line and 6 aluminium pipe ground pins. This was sealed in a olive
canvas/plastic bag.

I found 2 of them and spend an hour sewing them together and also making an seam all around the two sown together "tarps" I them fitted it with brass eyelets.

I now have a 10 by 11 feet waterproof olive green tarp with solid fastening eyelets 12 aluminium pipe tent stakes 40 yards of rope and the total price was less then $15.

I fitted one of the bags that contained the personal protection shelter with some hoop and loop closure and the whole tarp including 6 stakes and 20 yards line fits in it and forms an small light package.

Besides that I had fun making it and it just shows that with some improvisation one doesn't have to spend big bucks at all

Hi there,
in Germany theres a good source for tarp in the DIY-shop where you can buy all your stuff for remodeling, building etc. I found tarps with eyelet in OD and blue. They cost about US$ 2.50.
