I’ve owned and sold hundreds of Benchmades over the years. One that I have come to regret parting with was an old drop point auto Stryker. It had the standard flat black anodized scales and a beautiful, highly polished blade.

I can’t remember the model number of that knife and google turns up nothing. Anyone remember the model number of that knife?

Was it a push-button auto? I could be wrong, but I don’t recall the Elishewitz Stryker series ever having a drop point available in a push-button auto, just the tanto, or ever coming in satin finish, though the manuals always have. The AFO has always had a drop-point available, and is available in black and satin, but it’s not in the Stryker line. Could it have been a Stryker Nitrous assisted like this?

The scales on these were G10, as were all the Stryker manuals, which I understand doesn’t match the description you provided as being flat anodized. There was always the Serum dual action in a drop point as well, but again, not in the Stryker line, and had G10 scales:

Unless there was an older variant of the Stryker auto I’m unaware of, I couldn’t find it using my Google-fu either.

Any chance it was this one? Model 9130 Ares Auto Stryker. Aluminum handle.
