Need the spring for an old Buck 186 Titanium

I gave my father the old 186 Titanium as a gift several years ago. He recently passed away and when I was going through his things, I found the knife unassembled and without the spring. He apparently had the same problem a lot of folks have had, assembling the knife, and lost the spring.

I would really like to restore the knife to working order and save it for my son. Does anyone know how I can get a spring for the old 186 or an alternative spring from some other Buck model? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum.

Best thing to do is contact Buck W&R departement. They could have the spring in stock. I don't know any source that has spare parts for knives. Knives are mostly discarted or send back to Warranty & Repair.
