Need tips for WorkSharp

For you guys who are using a WorkSharp, do you use the guide or not? And what after market belts are you using? What grit and who do you get them from.

I dont use the guide. I use MicroMesh MX belts from 60MX to 1200MX and got 10 of each. It's cheaper to buy in bulk due to high shipping costs. I would recommend practicing with cheap knives in your kitchen first.
