Need to find a local maker (Triad, NC)....Anyone seen/heard from J. Hoover?

Two part thread:

1) I need to find knife maker for a project that is a little over my head and I would prefer that they were fairly local. I live in the Triad, NC....near High Point, Greensboro, Winston-Salem.

2) I tried to contact J. Hoover not too long ago and was never able to reach him. I talked to him about a year ago concerning doing a knife and he seemed like a good guy. It doesn't look like he has posted here in a while, anyone know anything?
 
Joe is still here , his last post was on the 27th . On page 3 of fix blades for sale he is there .
 
Shoot me an email and we can discuss it. I've been on the forum less lately. I've been filling some orders for clients but also spending a lot of my free time at the baseball field watching my son play.
