How To Need to : Get rid of a ton of assorted genuine Cold Steel empty knife boxes .

I see empty boxes at auction fairly frequently , but not enough of my specific type to gauge a value . NOT ASKING HERE !!!!

Hate to just throw anything out . That someone can use .

I don't need to make money on this , but don't want to waste too much time and effort either . Or spend money .

We usually just take stuff to Goodwill or give to neighbors etc , but pretty sure the demand for empty knife boxes is very limited .

IDK , maybe Goodwill could use them ?

Obviously I can trash them . Or try to sell on an auction site , but that seems way more trouble than it would be worth .

I'm obviously a packrat , and miserably bad at discarding even useless junk . But wife is "Spring Cleaning " , so ...

Put a post in gadgets & gear, add $5 a box as a lot. Take nothing less as it’s worth at least that. Let the next person sort and sell them out. Be done with it.

It’s a good deal, you will sell, the next person can still make money off them.

Maybe take them to a recycling facility to be used again for who knows what.

Or cut them up into random size pieces and make a giant collage for your man cave.

I wonder if flattening the boxes for shipping would ruin the value ?

Actually , if I do that , I could probably just keep them . Much less space taken and not as liable to be crushed .

unless you're gonna sell the knives with original packaging....I say trash them. boxes are just package trash. somehow we all got tricked into thinking packaging is worth something. don't feel bad I do the same thing. i flatten boxes that can be and store. the ones I can't flatten i also have in storage. not sure why as I likely won't sell any of the knives and if I do it would take forever to find it's packaging......

one day I'm gonna toss them all and be free........
