hi,

I know some of you guys may just be able to help me. I need to identify a North Face jacket that I hope to be able to offer for sale (it originally belonged to a family member who had misplaced the original invoice - it was then given to me to help raise money for expenses).

Details:
Brand : The North Face
Year of Purchase : 2000
Colour : Black shoulder yokes + black panel down the arms, blue body
Type : Looks like a mountain specific / guide style jacket - slightly longer than usual. Comes together with a fleece jacket which is zipped into the shell. Fleece is also black/blue.
Fabric : Goretex and Polartec? fleece. Fabric has a heavy feel (NOT one of the ultralight XCRs or Precips of today).
Description : Slightly longer, has storm flap covers over all zippers. storm flaps are secured by brass buttons. Comes with:
- two chest pockets which are angled
- two hand pockets which have a button flap closure
- pit zips
- hood, which is folded under the collar
- detachable fleece jacket
- powder skirt
- hem draw-cord, waist draw-cord

My relative tells me that it is temperature rated to minus 0 celsius. Originally priced around the $350 mark or so, I'm told. I can't find old catalogues of North Face Jackets. I reckon there can't be that many jackets which are sold together with a zipped in fleece, right?

Hope someone can help me out (North Face doesn't have an email contact that I can try asking as well :( ). The jacket was only used in one short Raleigh trip in Mongolia, then kept in storage. I reckon the jacket is worth couple hundred dollars, which would be a financial saviour for me right now (if I can sell it :) )

Thanks y'all.

maximus otter,
unfortunately, yours truly doesn't have a digicam. Do you think any of them can help me going just by my description above?

It can't hurt to try. If you find a phone number on a website, that might even be easier.
