Need to install stag handle to full tang

I have a puma white hunter a friend gave me some years ago and the wood handle is broken down to a half inch from the first pin then all wood to knife blade. I have decided to install a handle of deer antler to partial handle left unbroken. The tang is an inch wide to the end. I just need to add stag. How to bore hole and glue to secure? I'm thinking drill few holes then ream out add glue to tang and insert. (I am going to bevel stag to fit existing wood left on handle) is this about right for guick fix? I've been on chemo for awhile and really have little patience and fewer tools. thanks ,gfleet ( I hope someone has a clue of what I've tried to ask)

Either reinstall a wood handle, or install an all stag handle.
Drill through the holes, and install peened rivets. Either wood or stag will warp, and epoxy alone won't hold them.
