Need to make circles

Anyone have any suggestions how to make circles? I'm trying to restore/customize a putter. The trouble is, I've never been able to make a decent circle. My method so far has just been try to take away anything that doesn't look like a circle.

You said putter, like golf putter? I'm not seeing that?
Or I'm not sjre, what you mean?


How big are the circles?
Are you having troubles making the Males or the females?I
Plugs or holes?

How are they attached?
Press fit
Epoxy?
Weld or solder?

What machinery do you have?


Answers depend on that?
 
There's probably a local machine shop with a lathe that can make you all the circles your wallet can handle :P
Otherwise there are various methods, if you provide some more details we might be able to suggest something
 
I need to take out the white inserts and epoxy in the damascus ones. And naturally since ive made a couple of damascus knives, i can refurbish a putter. Makes sense i guess.

I'm guessing that they are not very big, so have you looked into hole saws for metal?

Out of curiosity, what are you using to layout/mark your circles?
