After seeing all the marvellous Bloodbathaganza pics in recent threads I needed to do this......
Went to the woods and (ab)used my uchogfsh some more....
What's the story:
On the 24th of july our beloved Amy-0 send out an email which said I scored my #1 choice (3E - HOGFSH with Ramhorn) on the Bloodbathaganzaa together with 1A (HOGwarden). I was very excited as this was my first ganzaa and I scored my fav knife to boot. Then the dreadfull waiting begun....
Both knives shipped on july 27th, so far so good. I know a parcel can take between 3 days to 6 weeks to arrive. After six weeks the USPS track and trace info still said "international dispatch". I called Dutch customs and they said both knives never arrived in the Netherlands where I live. I asked Amy to start an inquiry. The outcome is that the package is at France customs where it is lying still as we speak. USPS is trying to get a hold of the parcel but I don't know if they'll succeed....
My patience is really put to the test on this one, so I had to go chop some treebranches today to unwind from this knifedistress. I very much hope all turns out good.
In the meantime, here are some chopping pics (a few taken by my 4y old daughter)...
