Hello,

I paid for a gold membership using paypal on 2/8/15. I read in another thread that sparks has to enter PayPal payments manually.

You may already know this but it doesn't happen automatically. You have to manually go to "settings" in the top right. Then go to permission groups on the left about half way down the page. Then manually change to gold.
If gold doesn't show up then payment has not gone through.

Thank you for the advice, but I've been checking every day to see if it was available for me to change to gold through that method under "settings," then under "permission groups", as well as clicking "Paid subscriptions" then clicking "change your usergroup."

I've read in another thread that Paid Subscriptions using PayPal debt does require Sparks to enter in the payment manual, so it does take some time (a few days).

Just waiting patiently for my Gold Subscription. I shouldn't have let it lapse the first time around.
