Need urgent help to set up the email

I cannot change my BF registered email to current one, which at gmail.
Sent two emails to Forum Help, no answers nor solution.
Can you change it for me or how can I do it myself?
Please advice

On my mobile... Click on your avatar pic at top of page. Then click account details. Change email address, enter password, then click save at bottom of page.

I did it many times, that's what I am getting to. I am not sure if my real email got into the system when I was purchasing few knives here or what.
But it does prevent me from changing it.
Need help at some deeper level.

No other accounts I can think of.
