Need White linen micarta

Didn't really know where to post this, so if it needs moved, I understand.

I'm in need of a piece of white linen micarta to finish an order for a knife. I've checked everywhere, and it seems like it has dissapeared...lol. I need a piece to make a set of scales. about a 4"x5" piece would work. thanks!
 
My experience with white linen was that it was too porous to polish well. Maybe that's why it disappeared.
Couldn't you use white paper Micarta instead?
 
Oh I could, but I've made several out of the linen for the same guy, and he's pretty stuck on it. I can never get it as nice as i'd like it to be, but he seems to love it.
 
What about white g-10? Would that work? AKS has it and other places but as mentioned Knifemaker.ca has it $45 .
