need your opinions

Hey guys so i need your help. Ive got 3 emersons now and i was looking to get rid of one. At first i was thinking of trading it, but then a diffrent idea hit me... Im thinking of giving my cqc-16 to a close friend of mine. I got him into knives abouth 6 months ago, and in that time he has gone from carrying a gerber to a kershaw to a spyderco. He is absolutly in love with my cqc16 and has actually stoped playing with it due to that fact he says he could never afford a knife like that. We are going camping in a couple weeks and heres my question: do i trade the 16 to get something i want, or do i give him the 16 as a gift? Dont get me wrong i really like the 16, it just that i use my a-100 all the time. I need your opinioins guys trade it or gift it?
 
It's always nice to be nice, I say give your mate the knife as a gift. :):thumbup:
 
Gift him the 16 and you'll spoil him for any other brand. But then again, with the 16 in hand he may very well never need another knife.
Make both of you very happy, and then let him fillet all the fish you catch!

I think you guys are right. i dont think he will see it coming either. ya i think i made up my mind and im going to give it to him! ill bet he shits his pants,,,, lol. ok so heres the next question. i would like to order a some type of a belt sheath for it and my self. just so we both dont drop $200 knives out on the trail by accident. any suggestions on a nice cordura maybe velcro closing sheath for a folder? relitivly inexpensive as im already giving him alota money ;) lol
 
Gift it and Google folding knife sheaths you'll have a lot of choices. I like leather it keeps its form and doesn't collapse when trying to put it back one handed. I would try and find something where you live and save on the shipping, it will probably cost more than the sheath.
