Hello!

I'm getting interested in fixeds recently.

I liked Bill Moran Spyderco and some other models from Spyderco.

And I've ordered Meyerco Dirk Pinkerton Wharning.

So, I was wondering if you could please suggest some fixed knives (blade length 2"-4") that can be carried (clipped) on the belt, on the back side of the pants; similar to this picture:

Probably, it should be some Tec-loc system or similar.

Thank you very much!

Not sure if it comes with a Tek-lock or G-clip nowadays, but it's one of those two.

For the money the clip point ESEE 3 is a very good option, I have been threatened with death by my wife if I get another blade anytime soon. So I think I will order one today.

Lonewolf's Trailmate with 154CM drop point bade is a great EDC size, and the leather sheath allows horizontal carry. Not a tek-lok, but pretty versatile. I've been carrying mine with jigged-bone handle off and on since summer. Great little knife, if you can find one. Also available with G10.

You could always go custom, Just received a knife from justin king today and it is a great edc in 3v. If your willing to spend more that might be the best way to go. Otherwise a bk11,bk14, or esee izula might fit the bill. I dont yet have these two, but the spartan blades enyo and the blackjack 155 get great reviews.

Swamp Warden, Izula 2, ESEE 3 or 4. I've been carrying a Bark River Bravo 1 since I got it yesterday without any trouble, but a Bark River Gunny might be easier for some.

I love my Benchmade HD Night Shift. It is so thin and light, it carries easily about the waist. The leather scabbard has a wire clip so you can mount it in a number of different positions. The end of the handle is a bit sharp from the factory but a few passes with a
Spyderco dark ceramic rod rounded it out nicely. Later I may put on a wider bevel just to smooth things out even more.

Also Bark River Bravo Necker 2, along with the BK11/14, or IZULA or ESEE 3, or Scrapivore. You could also go custom as well. I recommend thinner handle scales for a back of the belt carry.

Keith Murr has a small FB with a sheath that is adjustable for several different positions, including horizontal. You can order one model from A G Russsell's stock, or a slightly different profile of the same knife directly from Mr. Murr and have it made just for you. Alan Davis on this forum also does small FBs and will make you a horizontal sheath out of leather if you want, probably not a Tek-Lok system, however.

In my honest opinion, the only way to go with fixed blade EDC is custom. That way you get exactly what you want without all the fuss. I would recommend Daniel Fairly.
