Needed, 1 1/4" bolt and nut with 8tpi

I am looking for a source that carries 1 1/4" bolts and nuts with 8 teeth per inch. All I can find in the 1 1/4" have 7 teeth per inch, and I need 8. Any help would be appreciated.

Standard 1 1/4" threads are 7 tpi and 12 tpi. You'll have to get it made specially for anything else .

I can't find any pre-made bolt like that.1" comes in 8 TPI 1.25 comes in 7 TPI. You could go to a machine shop and have them thread a piece of 1.25 round stock for 8TPI.Bolts will be a lot tougher to have made.What are you making with those odd sizes?Some sort of gear drive?

I just looked at a diferent chart it shows 8UN from 1" to 2.5"

Are you sure you don't have a metric bolt there?

There is a series of large diameter bolts with 8tpi. At least I have seen some large nuts with 8tpi. What they are used for i am not positive. There is a company that is in Grand Rapids Mi. That has a large database of fasteners. It is Manufactures fastener world. http://www.m-f-w.com/
