needed ESEE tool

Well we've already got patches, Zippos, water bottles, tshirts, hoodies, packs, and knives all with logos on them.

I'm down for a bottle opener! No guarantees if this will happen though since it takes a lot of work to arrange everything and we've already got some projects in the works.

I'm sure Mrs. Shotty will be along shortly

Dont forget the ESEE Panties!!

For my part, i would get the HEST, one of the rare few i can't justify to buy yet .. the bottle opener could be my excuse :)

I could see the conversation at home if I got the HEST as a bottle opener

Wife: "Don't tell me you got ANOTHER knife?"
Me: "No, No, it's not a knife, it's a bottle opener."
Wife: ""

But it might be worth a try......

I'd be down for a bottle opener or two.

Unfortunately the world's coolest opener has already been made.....the dillo.

It would be cool to see a small prybar/bottle opener as a companion piece to the knives other than the HEST

Someone else said it, but just buy a HEST and say it is a bottle opener with a knife as a side tool :p

I knew the HEST would be suggested even before I finished typing my post. If it weren't for the pry tool on the pommel I'd think about it. Plus I've already have an RC4 and Izula for EDC. I can envision times where pulling out a medium sized fixed blade to open a beer may be a little dramatic.

The Dillo IS cool and definitely one of a kind, but it's aluminum, and the twist-off feature is girly IMO. A pry-off opener will remove stubborn twist-offs when nobody's looking.

Jeff, Mike, et al,

Is there any chance in the foreseeable future that ESEE will offer a well designed, heavily logo'd, cool as hell bottle opener? It wouldn't have to be a complicated "multi tool", just a good strong opener (steel) with the ESEE logo.

I'm visualizing something similar to what Ernest sells:

Where do you find bottles that need openers these days. Or is it just easier to use a opener than to twist.

Oh and I do not know if ESEE will make them sorry. But I was just wondering on the openers. I see them on lots of key ring thingys but I always wondered what they would use them on.

Cheers---- Daniel

BTW, I realize that many of today's beers have twist-offs. They're so common that several times I've caught myself trying to twist non twist-off caps. After I chew up my hand getting them to rotate, I finally realize they're not threaded.

Regarding the SAK suggestion, I've already got a little Leatherman Squirt, and it works just fine. I was suggesting a higher profile piece of logo'd kit that was ready for use w/o having to be "deployed" via swinging out or unsheathing. Something that could make a bold statement, w/o the alarm of a fixed blade knife. I'm not saying it's a must, but IMO it's got more relevance than panties, and at least as much as water bottles.

If you're drinking beer with a twist cap you're not drinking beer.
