needing a few touch ups

Hello! So I am just going to sum it up. After a month and a half of camping my multiple knifes have gotten in bad condition (i.e. grime in the pocket knive and rust). I keep my knives in very good condition so I do not have much experience in the removal of rust. And for reference I have one pocket knife and 3 sheath knives.

My experience with removing rust (old shotgun) I used wd-40 and 000 steel wool pads. Worked pretty well, I'm sure others here are way more experienced than me though.

For my chef knives, theres this japanese rust eraser thing.

grey and soft like pencil eraser, gently scrubs off rust.

no idea what its called.

but every japanese knife website sells them about 5-10 bucks each.

id also order a bottle of sword oil. Edible oil used on katanas since back in the days.
