  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Recommendation? Needle Files

i got a few grobet files, they sell through amazon.
Id love to find an equally sized set of rasps, if there is such a thing

I bought a good set that were hard chromed when I was about 21 years old. Still have them and they still work.
I'll be 66 in December. Wish I could remember where they came from.

I buy the cheap import ones, they work fairly well and are inexpensive enough to be disposable so I'm not afraid to blunt them on hard materials, or even modify them by grinding teeth off to make a safe side, etc. I must have 5 or 6 sets by now.
I generally like to use quality tools, but in this instance I get more mileage for my money by going cheap.

You can buy the Husky brand from Home Depot and they say lifetime warranty on them. Even though they are considered usable (or whatever the term is) they put that on there as advertising, but you can actually return them for a new pack when they get dull.
