i have found a fixed blade that i am really intrested in adding to the mix. it is the Ontario Gen II SP42. there is one thing that has me a little concerned. the point seems a little dainty. is it? or is it just me? the others knives i am leaning toward, right now, are the Ranger RD6 and the Night Stalker 6. the RD and Nightstalker appear to be basically the same knife with the exception the Night Stalker has a recurve to it. am i correct? would this recurve aid in chopping? i'm thinking so. i still have the SP42 at the top of the list due to the handle and gaurd, but i really need a strong tip for digging bullets out of wood and other things like that. do y'all think the tip of the SP42 will be more fragile and snap prone than the RD6 or NS6? thanx.
