is the needs work gonna be around for a while?? i have yet to get one, but this knife looks like a champ!

I have a Needs Work & I absolutely LOVE it!!!!

Before it I had a mini cyclone plain, but I think I accidentally sold it in my store... (You know, see a knife lying around, put it in the display cabinet to 'tidy up' and next thing you know a customer's bought it) :( Going to have to get another one now.

My Needs Work is a beauty though, it feels absolutely amazing in the hand & there's nothing on it that needs work at all IMO.

Get a Needs Work and you will be amazed that it is about the cheapest Kershaw you can get b/c it is just so well thought out and screwed together. It makes one hell of a user and is a comfortable EDC.

I checking around to buy a needs work . Looks to be a huge and interesting knife for it's money.

is there any chance of a bigger version of the needs work being made?

I'd second this. I really liked the knife, it's well designed and cuts with little effort, but I couldn't quite fit my whole hand on it. Only thing that made me want to trade the knife, otherwise it's quite a bargain for its price.

My ONE complaint with my Needs Work, is that it doesn't cut ...."general" quite as nicely as my Cyclone Mini did..... for example, if I'm at a friends house, (or a bar) and have a Corona, and want some more Lime, if the Lime they bring me is a slice that is too "thick" to get into the Corona, my Needs Work doesn't cut the Lime anywhere NEAR as nicely as my Cyclone did :( I'm fairly... "buzzed" right now so I haven't analyzed it too much, I just know that when time came to cut lime tonight, I went for my coworkers CRKT Edgie before I went for my Needs Work.
