Recently purchased one from my buddy's over at Savson. How is it? Anything I should know? Thanks :]

good knife. i have one and its a good choice for an edc. mine was shaving sharp out of the box (but i had to add my touch to it and make it scarry sharp).

Great little knife I think, just wish it was a tad larger. But, it's a great EDC knife due to the smaller size. Mine came very sharp outta the box also, but a couple passes on a sharpmaker-esque ceramic sharpener got it extremely sharp. The AO is super fast and the lockup is very solid. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it as I have been with all my Kershaws!

Great knife overall. As mentioned, the opening is fast, and strong; when the NW opens, you know it! Gotta love that blade shape also; the world needs more Wharnies. Enjoy your new knife.

pocket clip sucks.

Well, you're certainly entitled to your succint, informationless, opinion...

I haven't been carrying the 2 I have, but I just pulled them out and tried them on a couple of different pockets...(a pair of sweat pants with pockets and a pair of knakis)...no problem here...IMO the clips work just fine...fairly low carry, small, not too much tension...;)

Well, then mine is defective. Takes 2 hands to attach it to the pocket. Way too tight. Insufficient lip to slip over fabric.

Don't get me wrong...mine are tight...short clips often tend to start out that way. Should be relatively easy to remedy...just remove it and carefully apply a judicious amount of straightening force at the bend closest to the screws (or since you need more lip, perhaps at the middle bend) and reattach.

Probably more a variation than a defect. ;)

I don't think I have any knives that the pocket clips didn't require a little tweaking one way or another, Needs Work included.

I have never had any bad pocket clips, aside from this one and the ET. too small and too tight in both cases.

I agree with Rat. The clip is a bit too short and tight. I can get it to work, but I'd prefer something easier to use. FWIW, I've never had to tweak a pocketclip on any other knife.

I like the blade shape. And the way it handles. I've been underwhelmed with the steel. After a year of ownership, I'm guessing my sample may be a bit too soft. Maybe I was expecting too much, but edge holding isn't spectacular. It does sharpen easily, and takes a very fine edge. But it really seems no better than my Chive in 420HC.

Nice knife. Maybe a little too short in the handle for me and springs open a little too hard. Tough and sturdy and priced right.

If you look at the clip it is bent at an angle at the tip; it's designed to be inserted at a slight angle. Try tilting it a little bit and it will slip in much easier, if you push it in straight down is is a little harder to do. Once you get used to doing it this way it'll be automatic.

The Needs work is a great little knife. Very sturdy and a good cutter.
Don't be afraid to use it!

The Needs Work is one heck of a good knife...An excellent buy.
