I can't find the post of the individuals who helped me with my quest for Snap-On Versions of the Kershaw "Needs Work" knives - but you know who you are and I wanted to say thank you for guiding me in the right direction! And a thanks to kershawguy....excellent service and great knives! Yes - they might be blems - but they are 99% perfect and they are gorgeous!

Now the only one that has eluded me is the Hunter Green One on the far left - still in pursuit! :-)

Didn't know they made those. I like the foliage green looking one and the blue. Do they make other models in these colors?

I wish they did - like to see a run of Blurs come in these colors, including ORANGE and with Polyimide handles.

Oh, and you should be aware of all the new translucent Chubby colors Wavester...eww that sounded a little off.

I think if your Chub goes translucent on you....well, you have some serious problems. You may need to seek medical attention

Speaking of translucent handles..... Thomas, any plans for some natural G10 or G11 scales in the future. That would look awesome on a flipper with some scales skeletonized in an interesting pattern.

Edited to change the Skeletonized from scales to liners.... you know what I mean:thumbup:

Would love to see some translucent scales!! As far as the translucent Chubby, eh...not so sure:cool:

The one benefit of a translucent Chubby is that she might not see it until its too late

As far as I can remember, the Blurs have been made in Black, Gray/Silver, Red, Purple, Blue, green and Brown!

I think the "Needs Work" is one of the underappreciated knives out there - great size, ergonomics, steel and price.
I'm waiting for it to be issued with the new steel to get another one.

Is there anyplace I can just buy the scales in the different colors?

Why no yellow? That would be great.

+1 on the Yellow!

Thanks Pete! Wanted to take a pic of the "Needs Work" Family - but wouldnt you know it, Camera craps out just when you need it. Anyone ever considering getting a Nikon P1 (granted now its an older model) forget it - worst POS I ever bought.

Nice collection Wavester!

Nice pics,
The Needs Work has recently displaced all my other edc's for pocket time. I have a blue one on the way (hopefully) from kershawguy, then I'll have to re-do the budget to be able to afford all the other colors.
Cheers,
Rob

I'll see about getting some images together. I'm out of the office for a stretch, but will get to when I can.

The Camo and red variations will still be available in limited quantities for 09. These and the translucents are all Snap-On exclusives.

There was the inverted black/red Craftsman version as well (now discontinued).
