I was fortunate to meet Neels Roos today and what a friendly and welcoming knifemaker he is. Although I’m not a collector of folding knives, with fixed blades being my focus, I could not take my eyes off the knives he makes - the level of craftmanship he has achieved with his folding knives is just inspiring.
In a total unrelated cause of events, I was able to purchase a few of his folders and to meet the man behind these fine blades was a privilege. Of course, I had to take the opportunity to get on to his books for new commissions.
