This guardless fighter was made by Neil Blackwood of Florida around six or seven years ago I believe.. It's the larger sized Melee design, and for me at least, it just rocks the badness meter. It is heavy and very sharp everywhere. I like the finger section under the bolster, and the thumb area has some small scores for better grip.. Also an exposed portion of the full tang out back for further mayhem.. This blade Damascus was made by Neil's friend Todd Fischer, who is a really fine maker in his own right.. Let's have a few looks..
Tip down W/ Sheath..
Tip UP Makers Side..
Close up of Bolster (DamaSteel) and Stag Scales..
Anybody that would like to share any Blackwood's from your collection, please do post away.. Best Regards, Rich
