Soooo a while back Neil messaged me to tell me that he'd accidentally machined a set of lefty frames, I guess he was showing his son how to use CAD and wound up making the scales backwards... He knows my disability and was willing to accommodate me.... Took a while of is going back and forth on what I wanted/what he'd do... Behold...
Specs:
OAL: 8"
Blade: 3.5"
Weight: 6.1oz
Steel: 1095 (w/wicked HAMONAGE)
Neil's knives are built to perfection. He's a propnent of the NFB pivot system (no f*cking bearings), the stop pin is a MONSTER, everything about it is well made.
I've started to narrow my collection down to specifically carbon fiber-centric pieces. Neil had this piece of marbled CF cut and ready to go, and I'm a happy camper.
A perfect milled clip.
What a sickkk hamon, Neil's really started to nail working with them. The edge is polished, and screaming sharp as well.
The whole knife has this cool two tone blue anoed finish, the backspacer is no different. It really compliments the CF IMO.
and the ergos are perfect, no hot spots, no rough patches, just locks into your grip and is ready to go. Well done Mr. Blackwood.
Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think!
