I just returned from a hog hunt in No. Calif., where I had a chance to use my new Neil Roberts Warrior knife. It is so pretty, I was afraid to get it bloody. But after gutting the animal, this knife is awesome. It cut through the chest plate with ease. No nicks on the blade at all.And these hogs have really tough hide and bone structure. I never had to sharpen the blade during the whole skinning process. It cut through the spine with a little tap from an oak branch like butter. What a knife!:D And for a fixed blade ,very manageable. Not too big or unwieldy. This blade is definitely a keeper and will be used as a good knife should. This is no safe queen for me. Good job Chris Reeves and Co.

Neil Roberts Warrior is an awesome knife, I love both of mine!:D

I shot this pig last night with a Rem. 700 , 7mm Mag. First shot hit him in the hind quarter,2nd shot was a lung shot. Both shots were on the run. I lucked out and he dropped 6 feet after shot#2. The NR warrior worked great.Stayed sharp while processing and cut through bone with ease, while none the worse for wear. The elk is from last year in wyoming hunting the Grand Teton National park. The warrior is definitely going on all my hunts from now on. Great Knife.:)
Good hunting,Pat

if you use photobucket or a similar program, you dont have to type the img tag. it will already be there.

but cool pics, better if they were a little larger though.

Thanks for the picture tips, still getting the hang of the p[rocess.

no problem, once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy.

you can also right click on any photo, and copy the properties. paste the copy with the img tag at both ends (
at rear).

Truck 1, no offense here, I don't want to obscure your thread, but just show another application of this knife.
Despite the fact I am well known around my friends for practicing "catch and release" it happens that I keep one for the table
Just notice that I use this knive twice, I take advantage of the thick spine of the blade, nearly 6mm, for striking its head and knocking out it and then for cleaning it on the premises.
