Well I got my Nemesis Imp today and it's great it has a dead center blade, super solid lockup, screaming sharp, early lockup Etc. I like the Wharncliffe blade and materials used VG10 blade, Kingwood Scales, anodized blue Ti liners , Telfon washers and some sort of black wood spacer. It's pretty light at close to 2oz which I also like and Jeff Hall was nice to deal with also. It's a little smaller than I like but it would make a nice user to just throw in the watch pocket of my jeans and carry like that, the blade and tip seem pretty thick and rugged, the box it came in is very nice looking. Pardon the cruddy pics they're from my iPhone.

things I didn't like are it's much smaller than I'm used to and it might be a problem for food prep and I can only get about a three finger grip on the handle, there was a kind of big chunk of the ano missing, there was some slight cracking on the material used between the lockbar and wood scale, the bevel is uneven, the screws including the one on the pivot look extremely small and eventhough it will probaby never be I real issue during use it kind of makes me a little nervous. Here's a picture next to a delica

Thanks for looking.

Well I've used it so far today to open about 30 envelopes and it slides right through with almost no restistance and still just as sharp as when I started. IMO without a doubt worth the price and probably more. Very round edges no gaps and the few flaws it has are very minimal. I realized the small screws aren't what's holding the knife together they're just holding the wood scales to the Ti.I think if you're looking for a small gentleman's knife with custom level F&F and top notch materials for around $100 this is the knife for you. Jeff Hall did a great Job on this.

Thx for the review. Been waiting to read a user's impressions for some time now. I was considering this for a long time as a gift for my dad's birthday.

Hi SteelSnob -

Cool knife - thanks for the pictures!

Is the flaw in the anodize pictured where the thumb-stud contacts the liner?

Are you going to return it to have the cracked material corrected?

I had not heard of this brand before your post - that is a neat and classy little folder. I like the Kingwood.

Thanks for posting .

best regards -

If you're looking for something a little different the Imp is a great looking little gent's folder - I picked up one in black palm about a year ago.

Hi BooZoo -

That is a real beaut!

Those would make great gifts for my son and son-in-law, who are both developing a taste for nice little knives. :D

Thanks to both of you for showing me yet another brand of nice folding knives.

best regards -

You're welcome buddy. Yes the damage is where the thumbstud hits the liner, it's visible in one of the pictures. I probably won't send it in because it's so small it's very hard to notice.

On another note I was handling it and I thought it seemed way lighter than 2.2oz so I weighed it and it's 32grams and about 1.014oz. Nice and light just how I like small folders.

Thanks for the compliments.
