I have the MANX with plain edge black blade. It is a pretty sweet knife except for one flaw. Mine has vertical blade play. Luckily it doesn't happen when you're pressing on the edge, only when you hold the knife and press on the spine with your thumb. It is because the lock flexes towards the handle a few millimeters. For $100 I was hoping for no blade play but the fit and finish is excellent otherwise. The modified wharncliffe in VG-10 holds an edge really, really well I was quite surprised. They got the heat treat and geometry just right apparently. The carbon fiber insert on the handle looks great and the knife holds well.
In regards to the Hellion, I say if you can find a good price then go for it. The Nemesis put some real nice VG-10 on my MANX so you could hopefully expect the same on the Hellion, and you don't have to worry about blade play. Also looks like you could have someone put some scales on the Hellion for you if you got sick of the skeletonized handle
But you might be able to get a custom knife for the same price that is essentially the same thing but a custom. Try posting in the Wanted section of Knifemakers Exchange that you want a knife similar to the Hellion see what people can offer!
