Does anyone have a Nemesis knife? Not sure if they are considered production
or Jeff Hall customs. There seems to be so little information on these on the
internet and knife sites. I was particularly attracted to the Equalizer, a 5" fixed blade fighter which bears are strong resemblance to the Al Mar Sere Operator
in both blade design and steel material.

did you bother to check out their website? They're a production company that outsources their materials, however they try to come across as a "midtech" company (whatever that means)...

From nemesis:
"Some companies simply import or manufacture knives. Others are all about hype.

We are passionate about knives.

Nemesis Knives fills the gap between the truly handmade knife and the mass-produced product. Using state-of-the-art manufacturing methods, both here and abroad, enables us to maintain product consistency and meet demand. Although we benefit from the tight tolerances the latest technology provides, each knife still requires careful assembly, hand fitting, and final finishing before it can leave our shop. This extra attention to detail is evident in the end product.

After nearly 15 years as a custom knife maker, Jeff Hall provides the scrutiny and experience necessary to produce a production knife a notch above the ordinary.

Nemesis Knives is a nimble company that presents trend-setting custom designs to a wide audience. Our focus is to always create fresh, exciting products for you to use and enjoy and to market them without a lot of needless superlatives. We believe we are producing a high caliber product that represents good value. One that you will be proud to own."

Yes I "bothered". Their site is obviously the first place I looked through. It doesn't tell me all that much. I then discovered how little information was available on the various net forums.
Do you have one or any experience with one?

There isn't much information because they're not popular. Why that is? Who knows...
If you like one, get it. I'm sure there's much worse knives out there. They are a production company though, so I wouldn't expect custom quality. If you get one, let us know how it is.

Btw, a quick search shows this...

^I like how "some companies simply manufacture or import knives," and yet most of their parts, if not all, are outsourced. ;)

Yea, gotta love marketing talk...:)

They don't seem bad from what I can see. However I don't see much praise either. I'll be honest, that 2-zero fixed blade looks pretty cool imo. If it were a 3"-4" blade I'd be all over it! But a 2" fixed blade with a clip seems like a decent option for when I need some tang;) and it would hardly take up any pocket real estate. And CPM-154:eek: I love that stuff!

Sometimes I get too crazy with my Sebenza at work and forget it's a folder. A "semi-cheap" clippable 2" fixed blade might be good for those times...

Some companies just manufacture, others simply outsource. we are passionate about our knives which is why we dont make them. And then we tell you that we do something special by hand assembling each one just like every other company has to do as there is no robotic knife assembly machine. We at nemesis take our craft seriously. So seriously that we have to pretend we do something other factories dont do. Its not our fault though. Its not like we actually make anything to know better.
