Using a Frost 115 Laplander blade I spent an interesting weekend of wrestling with blue and red paracord, wiped and dried before repeating twice for each stage (to prevent the dreaded glossy effect).
I did this on thin ply bolsters died red and will look to micarta next time. I really need a paracord thinner than the 2mm shown as it limits the pattern potential and overly bulks the handle for the size of the blade.
Fun, will make a 5 &1/2 blade for my next attempt. Oh while I am out shopping for the 12c27 I could do with a variable angle bench vice and some humour.
