Here's this new double knife or "Mandau" I just finished up for a customer. The "baby bushcliffe" is secured by a good fit, and a "spring clip" inside the bridge. The "big bush" is forged from 1065, aprox., 19 inches OAL. The baby is forged from 1095, aprox., 5-1/4 inches OAL. The wrappings are woven cotton cord, sealed with pinyon rosin. The scabbard is Honduran mahogany. The neck strap is woven cotton cord and is completely adjustable and removable.

WOWEEEEE!!!!!!

mandau = the double bladed eagle beak-shaped parangs used in borneo, comprises a big chopper, and has sorta like a small utility blades in the handle (like a kodzuka).

Tai, perhaps you could show how you do the wrappings? very nice....good wrapping seems to be a lost art these days...

Very fine, as usual, sir. The knives are fabulous but it is the sheath that really catches my eye. That is too cool:thumbup:
