Is the company really making the blade 2" and the handles normal size? I see these on ebay every once in a while. Here's a link to see for yourself if you haven't seen one already:

Do they make a full size blade for one of those? It's kind of ugly but I like it! Fine, I have no taste, so what? Anyone know what the handles are made of?

While I'm at it, I figured I'd post this one up too. I've never seen something like this so I was wondering if any you have any info. The seller doesn't seem to know too much about it. Anyway, here's the link:

well you see E-bay wont let you sell knives with blades over 2" long (and they have to have a picture with a ruler in it) otherwise they'll pull the auction. The blades on these are simply replaced with two inch blades

Well, if you look closely, the seller is JohnR7, a bladeformite. Actually, he grinds the blades down manually on a bench grinder to 2" to keep within Ebay regulations. That way, the winning bidder can choose between the full size or the small size blade. However, it should be obvious that the preferred choice for John as well as the seller would be the full size.

The best, though, that I've ever seen was the fellow who auctioned a picture of a switchblade. You were buying just the picture. The knife came with it as a free gift. Now that's clever.

And how about the guy who was selling the new Benchmade 42 CD? That was good too.

Think W!

Some guy on e-bay was selling switchblades and they inevitably pulled his auction from the site, but I still got one from him and it made it through Canadian customs no problem at all... Gotta love the little flaws in the system...

Hey Chuck, did that Benchmade 42 CD ever go through, or did it end up getting pulled? That was pretty clever.

The USA made Frost is just a Bear made knife with a Neon Green Finish on it. For the price it's a good deal, because I sell them for half the price of the Bear. But the problem with them is, that the finish tends to be easy to chip on it. It's a good knife for someone who wants something different to add to their collection. I have the Frost, Bear & Herbertz butterfly knifes, I just have not gotten around to listing them on my web site. As far as the 2" blades that Ebay requires me to list in my auctions, I have only had one guy who actually wanted me to grind it down to 2" so he could carry them in his car and practice with them when he was in a traffic jam. Other than that, just about everyone trades the one they won in their ebay auction for one with a full sized factory blade from our web site. Thanks, JohnR7 www.BalisongKnife.com

I sold a full sized switchblade on ebay once with a 2" blade without any problems at all. I tend to stay away from selling switchblades though. Here in Ohio, the police will not mess with you unless someone makes a complaint. But if I were out at the market & they were to decide to mess with me about it, they could confiscate all of my inventory and tow my truck, so for me, it's just not worth it.

I was out there one 4 th of July weekend and they had a big bust where about 12 dealers went to jail over copy right infringement items. Sunglasses, clothing and so forth. They fined them $500 each and kept their inventory. They say the second offense can carry up to a year in jail.

For me, I just don't do anything that I am not ready, willing and able to defend myself in a court of law over. I figure that I keep the law better than the law enforcers do, so I really don't have anything to worry about. A privilege of making it half way through life is you get to watch the police to see if they are doing their job, rather than for them to watch you
