Makes you wonder about the accuracy of research and reporting when they say, "the(khukri)must draw blood every time it is unsheathed".
 
It was also quite incomplete. They didn't didn't say anything about the all-important "torture knives." ;)

I seem to think I once heard that "draw blood" hooey about Samurai swords, too. I guess, though, if you're going to repeat an incorrect story, you might as well repeat it incorrectly.
 
The torture knives are the ones they wedge into their mouths like vampire teeth before battle, right?
 
Today is the first day in many weeks that the
Google news alert has reported
-no- deaths in Nepal from political violence.
