You've talked several times about a Nepali trait being to not contradict or say no. I remember seeing something about people in Myanmar ( Burma ) saying something on the order of ( rather than wrong way, dummy ) "much better to go this way" and I've heard of the Japanese "face".
Is there something similar throughout asia? I know we have Arvind's family being Sikh up around Pakistan, Sonam having traveled throughout India, WrongFriend in Japan, Mohd in Malaysia, people knowlegeable to some extent about Tibet, Sikkim, Bhutan, Burma, Thailand, almost making a half crescent around India. What of Laos,Cambodia Khampuchea?), Vietnam, Korea, China?
Can someone ( maybe it takes someone between two cultures ) tell me if the politeness, courtesy, manners etc., have something in common or they are all different? I'm realizing how provincial those in the US are. Take this wherever you want. I'm just curious.
Edit - couldn't remember what Bhutan was called. Now I do.

Ma'am, I DID NOT call you an unfit mother.
The judge did that in this court order.
