Very nice tarwar. I love the villager satin finish on it, seems to fit it very well. The white metal fittings are another plus. :thumbup:

The fittings look like steel. If it was mine, I'd have to blue the guard, ferrule, and buttcap. I think that would look great.

ouch, what a great looking tarwar, probably the best i've seen and is my favourite of HI's products.

one suggestion, please increase the overall size and thickness of the guard. the thin, small guard while attractive, really digs into your hand.

this guard is thicker, which is great. Just increase the size and you've got a winner.

i was going to have my tarwar remounted to basically look exactly like this one, just with a larger guard.
 
i'm liking that a lot of the blades look like they're coming extra oily? everything more coated? helps with shipping/storage initially? less drying outcracking/shrinkage.

and sweet - a villager sword. i like the slight handle cant too. forward aggressive.

I really like that! The villager finish on the blade is perfect and the grain on that handle is a great compliment.

So who's the lucky buyer?

my time at the yard has diminished as well. i'll never make mongrel if my posting keeps slowing down. it's an asymptote.

as magnum22 approaches 250 posts the percentage rate at which he posts decreases by......ugh that whole percent of a percent thing always screws me up.
