Here is one of the best rigs I've seen come along in some time and I think it is an idication of what we are going to be seeing in the future. The quest for perfection never stops at HI and BirGorkha.

The khukuri is an 18 inch Sirupati made and marked by Kumar and he is beginning to think "thin" on this one. The blade is 5/16 inch thick and the knife weighs only 18 oz. -- an inch per ounce for an 18 inch Sirupati from BirGorkha is light. The fit and finish are fine. Kumar has spent some time on the this. (Bonus time.) Brass inlay and scrollwork are pretty neatly done. Hardness is about 58 - 59 Rc in chopping area. Saatisal handle is very well done. Karda and chakma are well done.

Scabbard and the new improved HI superfrog are made by the best sarki in Nepal whatever his name might be. Scabbard is tooled though not as deeply as the first picture shown and is very well made of good quality leather. The HI superfrog is made from 3/16 inch thick high quality leather stock and will last for 4 or 5 lifetimes.

It is a ten out of ten rig or awfully close and we will offer it as a special deal to introduce you to the work of the world's best sarki at a price of $95 delivered to your door.

Call or email if interested.

Thanks alot! Ive missed out on most of your specials lately, but maybe that was good luck since i really love the look of this knife. Thanks again.

That really is very nice. It didn't sit up there overnight! It's probably a good thing I didn't see it first since I just ordered a new Spyderco yesterday. One every two weeks is about all I can get away with and that's an effort! Good buy.

Dang. A day late and a dollar short. Congratulations Robert, on a truly beautiful rig.

You know ... I would have bought this one Uncle Bill. Congrats Robert. I am VERY jealous.

Bill,
My Brother called me said i missed this & laughed,if i had the HIKV(instead of a little infection)i would be snapping pencils,
cussing & go buy me a comp. instead of using a office comp.but i am ok,Vince will tell you i never get upset!there will be a next time,if i need "one" more!
jim(a pencil just broke,it was an accident,honest)!!

:
Robert will you please post the handle and blade length on this one when you get it?
The handle looks longer than usual for a Sirupati of this size?
One beautiful khukuri though.

I am wanting a 15" like this one that's on the thinner side.
Ever since I traded off my 17" village model I have felt something missing. (So much for having just ONE Favorite!!)

I would have jumped on this one had I have seen it in time. You Are One Lucky Guy!!!
