depend who you ask an what they eat,,some people cant stand the gamey taste,me i love them,i think there great.

Soak them overnight in milk or buttermilk in the fridge helps. Males under 150lbs are gernerally decent tasting, over 150lbs and they get a little rough. The sows are generally good regarding the size. Alot depends on what they eat as well. Overall I find them to be great table fare.

My friends in Tx live trap them in pick up bed size traps and feed/clean out the ones under 100lbs for a couple of weeks before slaughtering. Shoot and bury the larger ones. Big, big crop damagers.. The best ones are < 50 lbs.--KV
