NESCO OVEN

My girlfriend gave me a 18 quart oven for Xmas. This sucker get up to 550 deg. I was think (don't tell her Chisel) how about using it for annealing, fill that baby full off sand and you can control the temp. An use it for quenching. Has anyone tried this before????

Darrel: You can control the heat all the way down to 0.
