Hello Bladeforums,

This weekend was the 5th annual Herb Kettel and Nick Rossi Basic Bladesmithing class at the New England School of Metalwork in Auburn, Maine. Six students went from bars of 1095 to finished knives in four days. Everyone did fantastic work and we all had a great time. Every student is an established artist and I have included pictures of some of their work that they brought for show and tell. I would like to thank School Director Dereck Glaser for the facility and the trust that Herb and I wouldn't burn the place down.

Nice. And nice to see such a clean workspace. I am in a constant battle with "partners" who think if you are forging your shop should look like the inside of a chimney.

Looks like a great time!
