Hello

Title says all.

I've watched Andy's work for a long time now, telling myself someday I will get one of his nice Nessmuk, I think that day is close.

I still hesitate, should I get a small or a large one?

What are your toughts?

There's only one way to solve this one...get both and see which one best suits you.....I'm sure Andy would agree...:)

Hmmm. Both does solve the problem. See the problem is that not many folks have used both...

Ive owned em both.... I liked the large alot better. The smaller one was great, but I thought the large was more comfy to my hand.

An ideal tradeoff would be to combine the 2 like Andy did with the bushys. Fatter handle, smaller blade. etc... But thats just me. Whatever Nessie you choose will be the best. Andys Nessies are the absoulute best ones around. Ive used most of em, and Andys by far win out.

I have small hands, I'll take a small one :P

After all, for a Nessmuk trio, a smaller knife is ok since you have something big for the big stuff (in my case, a hawk or a khukuri).

The large isnt much bigger, just a bit curvier with a fatter handle.

If you have small hands I say you made a good choice in the small one.

Your gonna love it.

Andy

Did you get my last email with my summarized order?

Could be in the junk mail who knows. :S

I didn't. Lets make this an order thread. Post your order here, and I'll update pics here.

THanks!!!!

All right:

- Small Nessmuk
- Curly Maple handle (I feel like natural more than dyed)
- Regular pancake sheath
- Shipping to Canada.

Shipping out of the US is not in the standard price. I don't make profit on shipping though. When its time to pay I'll get a quote, and add the direct amount to your total.

I don't do sheaths. Or, I do make a damn good one, but I charge a $75 minimum to discourage orders. I have JRE sheaths available for $20, and Talfuchre makes sheaths for my knives too.

Well, just the sheath you told me about in your mail:

The sheath is $20. Its a simple pancake sheath.
The 20$ sheath. Any pics of it?

EDIT: Nevermind for the pic. Google got my back.

Cool. Its a really nice sheath. I sell them for whatever they cost me rounded to the next $5. So thats why they're so cheap.
