Well these 6 are getting close to completion. Dang if selling my house isn't slowing me down even more than having a baby...:rolleyes:

I gotta tell ya, you make some sweet looking Nessies there Fiddleback, love seeing them in the rough like that.

I think my favorite part of making them is taking this blocky glued up mess, with pins sticking out, etc, and grinding, filing, and sanding it into a pretty knife!

Its like that moment in woodworking when you brush the finish on the wood and see the inner beauty come out!:thumbup:
 
That second one from the left looks like it's going to end up having a very pretty handle. All of the rest of them look great too. Nice work.

Tell ya what..... GIVE your house to me...... finish as many "Nessies" as possible and head to Blade in Atlanta. There you will make a mint and I can keep your house;) :D

Thats book matched maple burl. I kept a knot front and center. I love how knots look in wood!
 
Not that I or my wallet wants to know the answer, but might you be selling these when you are done?
