Finally had some time to take some photos of my new favorite Fiddleback - the Nessmuk - along with a couple other "historical" knives, my Kephart and Hudson Bay Camp.
It was serendipity when Andy told me this Nessmuk was available since the handles are desert ironwood!
Bark River Hudson Bay Camp knife, ML Kephart and Fiddleback Nessmuk - all in desert ironwood goodness.
All convex grinds.
A look at the handles. I love comfortable, hand-filling handles and the Nessmuk is no exception.
This knife locks itself into your hand and excels at slicing due to the thin blade.
Andy's interpretation of Nessmuk's knife is one of the most beautiful renditions I've seen of this classic design.
Thanks for another great knife!
Randy
