In an older post I saw a pattern for a JK Nessmuk double bit hatchet, anyone have a picture of one?

I copied the pics & info from the post TL linked for all to see without playing musical pages.

Here is the first Nessmuk Hatchet I made, along with the specs.
13" overall
6" wide head
3" cutting edges
1/4" thick O1 steel
32 oz.
Oak handles
Brass pins

Cool little hatchet!

The one shown is the only one I made. I can see where a lot of improvements can be made on another.

I can see me absolutely positively needing one of those.

Yeah I loved that thing. just couldn't get it at the time. great design. I'm interested in the improvements you see John!

I just went looking for it to take some new pics and realized that I had loaned it out to…someone and now need to figure out who's got it. :o

There is a chance I might make one of these very soon, in 3/16" thick steel, with a revised head shape.

Cool hatchet!

best
