Photos Nessmuk knife made from old file - with making-of video

This is the small Nessmuk I got from Emmer Knives a few months ago. Love this chunky little fixed blade!! Now he just posted the making-of video on his Youtube channel. I think it's a great idea, it makes the knife even more special for me and it is an interesting look behind the scenes.



 
I'm not huge on the nessmuk pattern as they're normally too curved upwards, but this one is beautiful.
Congrats, and I definitely agree that this makes the knife even more special.
 
Nice looking knife!
The video was good but I could have done without the annoying music. I wish he showed how he softened the file before he started working on it, but I liked how he did show his heat treat process.

I know what you mean! I like this shape also better than the really traditional Nessmuk pattern.

How thick is that spine? Looks like a 1/4" from the video. At least.

Even thicker! :cool: It's 8mm! He had material from 3-11.5 mm available and I chose this one.
