Blind Horse knives is offering a full sized Nessmuk.
http://www.blindhorseknives.com/
1/8" thick
0-1 steel
Micarta scales (your choice in colors Black, green, natural) I picked natural cause it looks the most like wood.
I already have one on order so I'll get a full review in ASAP.

I've got the Necker version, their fit and finish is spot on !

Not enough hump and too thick IMO. I don't think a Nessy should be more than 3/32.

Oh my my... This looks great, thanks for the link. Checkbook is going to get lighter. Micarta + O1 = close to perfection (for me, at least).

Thanks!

3000 posts.I decided to do a mini review of my new Nessie to celebrate.
Well my BHK "Muk" arrived and I have to say right out of the box I was impressed. The fit and finish was outstanding. The micarta handles were polished and very clean. No rough spots and everything was even. The rivets look to be brass and steel "fish eye" style and there's a large brass tube lined lanyard hole.

The blade has a satin finish with no marking except for a tiny BHK logo near the handle.

Now,no knife is worth a damn if it can't cut.No matter how pretty it is.This knife can cut and cut well. The flat ground O-1 blade glides through everything I sliced with it so far.I had to catch myself while cutting an apple so I didn't wind up posting about my nasty multitude of stitches.
The spine is squared off and is superb for striking ferro rods.

I was out this morning for a hike and took the photos for this set.it was cold and it had started to rain just as I got the tinder scrounged up so I kept the fire small.

All in all I am very happy with this knife.Great feel and look with the abilities to back it all up.

That's really nice, I like it! Can you post a sideways in-hand shot for a size comparison? Thanks!

BHK is amazing company. They have been putting out a bunch of really nice knives. I have a bunch of them but lately haven't had the cash flow to get any. Those Nessies look sweet. I'm really a fan of the Bushbaby.

Congrats on your new knife and 3000 posts !

3001...You guys are killing me.:p

BHK Muk review part 2.
As requested here are a couple of in hand shots.I'm a pretty big guy and have fairly large hands and the MUK fits nicely.

for further comparison here it is along side 2 of the most popular bushcraft/survival knives around. The Fallkniven F1 and the BRKT Bravo-1.

The sheath was something I didn't touch on in part one. This knife has a nice sheath. It's a double stitched leather pouch style sheath with a standard belt loop and an additional metal "D"ring that attaches a dangler loop so the hole thing swivels on the belt as you sit. There's also a small kydex strip along the top of the sheath to aid in retention. On the side there's a very generous firesteel loop.I have a 3/8 ferro rod in it right now and it's just a perfect fit.

If anybody has any questions or pic requests I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Thanks for the pic with the F1 and B1 ... I didn't realize the Nessie was that big.

Do you have other BHK that you can take a pic next to?

great review. this really is an excellent knife.
another size comparison:

Been waiting on a the Busse MUK, but decided to pick this up instead. I am sure I won't be wanting anything more than this blade.
