Well...it turns out I DO listen to customers...and take their feedback. And here's the proof:

9.5" overall

Blade = 5.25" of 3/32" thick 1095, hardened to ~60-61 HRc, as-quenched finish on the flats, scandi grind at 12.5 degrees each side

Handle - 4.25" (material varies), with corby pins and 3/8" lanyard

This one is going up to Kodiak to a friend of mine at Island Air, Roland is a pilot up there who hauled me and my gear over hells half acre hunting bear, elk, moose, caribou and deer in the 90's. A great friend who has a birthday coming up soon. I cant think of a better gift for him than a knife like this. Knowing him, I assure you it will be on his hip boot belt and not come off until he has used it down to a nub. I know it will be put to good use in one of the most fun places on the planet.

Plain QD in black would be $55 and would take a week - Butch has pretty good turnaround time on the sheaths...and I'll be putting in another order tomorrow. :thumbup:
